Design thinking
Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.
- Steve Jobs
My definition of design thinking is simple and obvious. Design thinking is the process where one looks on idea to improving a design. It can be on a school, a product, a building, studying spaces, a gym, or a bookstore. Design thinkers can be architects, designers, construction managers. To be a design thinker, you need to first understand what's given to you and think it critically.
We are currently working on design thinking "improve your learning spaces". Below are some opinions that I have on how to improve learning spaces.
We should have colours like green and red so that we do not feel lazy while studying.
We should have certain facilities which will keep us fresh. They are stated below.
- gaming laptops
- wireless mouses
- leather couches or gaming chairs
- floor mat
- desks which have LCD's
- starbucks and coffee machines
- vending machine
- ipads instead of books
- a parrot that talks back
- talk back machine for help
- circle arrangement of chairs
- a round building
- transparent laptops
- shorter lessons
- smartboard which uses your voice to write
- a pen which is connected to your brain and automatically writes down what’s in your brain.
The building structure should be like
Here is a quote by me to round up this Blog.
Math is easy; design is hard. Math can be understood in months or so, but design takes decades to be built and understood.
